Short internet series I have just found

I have just discovered the first part of this series on YouTube made up of 5 minute long episodes. The makers haven't made the rest of it yet however there is definite room for more episodes and development. I would love to be able to tackle something as difficult as a short series

Music video ideas

So it looks as though I'll be making a music video for The State Affair and after having a word with a few of them, we've decided to have no narrative and to have different shots of the band both playing as a group and on their own as well as having them walking/running etc together. I watched a few music videos of the rock, ska and mod genres and came across the sort of thing I was looking for. All of these videos are pretty low budget yet due to the use of filters, high and low angle shots, close ups and tracking they look 100% professional standard. Another thing I will need to consider is the star persona of this band as this will ultimately be how the audience view this artist for the remainder of the time they spend as a band.

An insanely good short film I just watched

December - short film by Andreas Pasvantis - Shorts Bay

This film is incredible. It manages to move from being really eerie to something completely the opposite. I commend the brilliant use of POV shots, which are difficult to master without looking amateur. It's films like this which inspire me to push all boundaries and come up with some experimental yet completely original ideas.
